FINALLY CATALOGUES HAVE ARRIVED

Have now got the catalogues of VOGUE, BUTTERICK, KWIKSEW MCCALL with great new ideas for crafts, and amazing retro wear.  Wedding dresses galore.  I am surprised how beautiful they all are.

I have difficulty choosing which one is my favourite.  In the past I have used all of the above for one project or another and have found them great to work with.

However, I understand that money is tight for most of us just now being in a crises, so would highly recommend looking at Kwiksew as the prices are the best. They are selling them between 3.00€ - 5.00€ where as the others are selling at much higher prices.

If you are interested in having a look just email me to arrange a viewing of the catalogues.

Ronda - source of great material

Hi,
I was in Ronda, Spain recently doing a reccy for materials for making some clothes for myself, and I have discovered a few really nice places.

One is on the corner of a the main shopping street heading towards the bull ring, it sells traditional style Spanish flamenco dresses in the window, I went down stairs and discovered a treasure trove of materials.
Great for me, as it is not just plain materials but really nice bright colours and fantastic design.  Great prices too.  I thought that the range of materials was really good, so if ever you in Ronda and are looking for something different this could be the place to go.

The other place I went was for upholstery material, very nice range.  Very helpful people - this place also deserves a look.

The last place I went into is set between two cafes with a huge of traditional wooden door, in fact if the door is closed you would not know that it hold a secret of great materials.  Very helpful people.  Would recommend going there to have a chat and look around.  Very Spanish yet incredibly a great range of different types of material.  Have a look round and see what you can find.
