Beadspread

I really enjoyed making this bedspread, it took me about 3 weeks to do at night.  At the time I was having trouble sleeping and found being creative a really great help.

I loved to watch how the work developed and as it is one of my latest crochet blankets I thought I would show it to you.

I normally do it like a square but this time I choose to go in a different format, I think that this way really looks great.

I also have done a few for the dogs beds, also I have crochet some dog coats as they all feel the cold in the winter here in Spain.  Sometimes it gets cold in the house  - yet is warm outside, but sitting inside in the evening can be very chilly.  We recently started to up the fires on but it has to be really chilly otherwise you get overheated really quickly.

The yarns I have used are really lovely and would highly recommend them.
I have also been investing in some lovely patterns from the same company.

FINALLY CATALOGUES HAVE ARRIVED

Have now got the catalogues of VOGUE, BUTTERICK, KWIKSEW MCCALL with great new ideas for crafts, and amazing retro wear.  Wedding dresses galore.  I am surprised how beautiful they all are.

I have difficulty choosing which one is my favourite.  In the past I have used all of the above for one project or another and have found them great to work with.

However, I understand that money is tight for most of us just now being in a crises, so would highly recommend looking at Kwiksew as the prices are the best. They are selling them between 3.00€ - 5.00€ where as the others are selling at much higher prices.

Pattern Catalogues

Hi, as I have been asked by some people if I can source sewing patterns, I remembers I have previously been asked by Butterick, Mcalls, Vogue to sell their patterns in my previous business in the UK at the time I was not in a position to do so.

So from next week I shall have the catalogues so if you are looking for a pattern to make that fancy dress or costume, beautiful dress for an evening out I shall be getting them in for next week.

I shall notify when in receipt of the Vogue, Butterick, Mcall and Kwiksew catalogues for you to browse through at your leisure over a nice cup of tea or coffee.  I can bring them to you or meet you somewhere in town.  Being in Estepona means we can meet in great places like the Irish Fiddler in the Port.
